Nikki’s Home
I thought I would share with you a little corner of my own home. The design here is pared back and understated, allowing me a little breathing space.
The open plan living space works hard – it’s where we cook, eat, play and relax as a family, and with so many uses in one place I wanted the design to focus on the lightness of the space.
I used a muted colour palette and neutral tones, layering textures to create a welcoming yet calm interior in our rear extension. We then carried this vision up to our recent loft conversion, crafting a peaceful sanctuary away from the kids. I am passionate about great British design and I am slowly adding stunning statement pieces from Tom Raffield, BTC, Ercol and Jim Lawrence which complement our home adding that personal touch.
