Why we Love Holmes Bespoke

We were blown away when we first saw the Holmes Bespoke stand at Decorex 2021.  It was the first show since lockdown and a lot of the exhibitors had played it safe.  But not Laylah, who had been hand-picked to have a stand at the show.

Laylah’s rug designs really stood out.  They were fresh and original, and you could feel the quality and craftsmanship. She says, “A rug should be treated as art for the floor. Creating a bespoke piece is an exciting experience, the options are limitless!”

Laylah’s fashion background is visible in her contemporary designs and fresh approach. A winning combination when paired with the premium quality and longevity of the designs which are all hand-made by skilled craftspeople.

What inspired us to collaborate with Holmes Bespoke?

Laylah’s focus on liveable luxury mirrors our own ethos, so we knew that we would love collaborating with Holmes Bespoke.  They offer a ready to order option but we really enjoyed collaborating personally with Laylah using her tailored service.  We selected a print we loved and then worked closely to customise the colours to compliment the scheme of our client’s space.

It was so much fun playing around with all the tones and tweaking the designs to create a bespoke piece.  Laylah has such an eye for detail and her product knowledge and vision were so reassuring.  We were so excited when the rug arrived, and it works perfectly in our client’s cinema room.

Our 3 favourite products

Every year I am amazed by all the new designs that Holmes Bespoke launch.  It’s also great to see all the exciting collaborations that Laylah has designed with The Hoxton.

Best wishes from Nikki
